How we work with you

We know that working with a digital studio can feel uncertain, especially if previous experiences haven't been great. Our aim is straightforward: do good work at a fair price, and be honest about what's involved.

If something should reasonably be part of the engagement, it's part of the engagement. We scope carefully upfront so there are no surprise invoices for things you'd expect to be included.

If you need an integration or feature we haven't built before, we'll research it properly and give you an honest answer about what it takes and what it costs. If there's a simpler, more affordable way to get you where you need to be, we'll suggest it.

We'd rather find a way to help you than tell you it can't be done. And if something genuinely is outside our scope, we'll tell you that honestly too - and point you to someone who can help.

A refresh works with your existing site - fixing mobile issues, improving speed, sorting out SEO basics, and polishing the content. A rebuild replaces the site entirely with a new design, new structure, and new content. If your current site is less than 3 years old and broadly works, a refresh is probably enough. If it feels outdated or was built on an old platform, a rebuild makes more sense.

Not necessarily. If you're comfortable managing your own hosting and updates, we'll hand over the site and you're good to go. But most small business owners don't want to think about security patches, backups, or SSL renewals - that's what the Care Plan is for. The Growth and Strategic retainers are for businesses that want active improvement, not just maintenance.

Yes. You can move up or down at any time with 30 days' notice. Most clients start on the Care Plan and move to Growth once they see the value of consistent SEO and content work.

We build on WordPress or Statamic depending on the project. Both are modern, fast, and easy for non-technical people to update. We'll recommend the right one based on your needs - you don't need to know the difference.
